Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment while contributing to meaningful projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, adaptable, and possess strong communication skills. This position is designed for individuals looking to develop their skill set and gain valuable insights into the arts.

This position is ideal for a current Undergraduate or Graduate Student, or recent Graduate. We offer a variety of paid internships throughout the year. The candidate ideally lives within a 45 minute commute from the LBIF. A resume and three references are required.

Duties

  • Assist with daily operations and administrative tasks to support team members.
  • Engage in training sessions to enhance skills relevant to the internship.
  • Assist in Gallery operations, artist exhibitions, film and musical concerts.

Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., BFA, MFA, Marketing, Communications).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Previous internship or volunteer experience is a plus but not required. This internship provides an excellent platform for personal and professional growth while allowing you to contribute positively to our organization. We look forward to welcoming you aboard!
